    NIU Technologies was founded positioning itself as a provider of smart urban mobility solutions.

  • NQi Launch

    In June, NIU launched the NQi Series scooter and successfully raised over USD $11 million through online crowd fundraising. By November, they had showcased the NQi at EICMA in Milan, Italy, introduced NIU Cover for digital insurance, and sold a one-day limited edition NQi Series scooter which accumulated USD $13 million in sales.

  • MQi Launch

    The MQi Series electric scooter was launched in April, raising over USD $13 million in 15 days. By August, NIU had expanded sales to Europe, won a top e-commerce sales award for electric scooters, and their scooters cumulatively traveled 100,000,000 kilometers.
